I hope everyone had a fantastic Holiday Season and Happy New Year.

This year is starting off great for me. I was browsing a wedding day magazine online today when I ran across the ad below for the Gillespie Center at the Hilton Garden Inn. The room shots are mine! Quite I surprise I wasn’t expecting to see them in an ad. Gillespie Center is one of the top 5 banquet facilities in town. Check them out if you are looking for a reception location.

Santa Cause At The Hilton Garden Inn

On Saturday Allure Films was the official photographers of this years Santa Cause sponsored by WSBT and the Hilton Garden Inn! Santa Cause is a breakfast with Santa for children and their families. The procedes benefit Saint Vincent DePaul Society.

If your children participated in the Santa Cause you can place reorders with online proofing.

Santa arrived from the North Pole in a firetruck provided by the Clay Township Fire Department.

Members of the Notre Dame Band provided entertainment for the children while they waited to speak with Santa and get their photos.

Special thanks to Paul Chamberlin from the Music Machine who lent a hand.

December 5, 2009!

We are proud at Allure Films to announce that we will be the official photographers at the charity event Santa’s Cause held at the The Gillespie Conference Center and sponsored by WSBT and the Hilton Garden Inn. Tickets can be purchased at the WSBT studios and will cost $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 4 to 12 and Free for children under 3. The breakfast is to raise money for the Saint Vincent de Paul Society and the Salvation Army.

Everyone gets a complimentary picture with Santa! We hope to see you there for this good cause!

What A Compliment!

Recently I answered the phone and received a very nice compliment. The Hilton Garden Inn had decided to decorate the walkway joining the hotel to the Gillespie Center with some pictures from past events. The call was to ask permission to use four images that I had taken of different events at the Gillespie Center! What a compliment! Thank you to the staff of the Hilton Garden Inn and Gillespie Center! Below are the four images they chose.

Christine and Brian were married on a beautiful March day. The wedding took place at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of Notre Dame. The reception followed at the beautiful Gillespie Center in the Hilton Garden Inn. Cynthia Basker from Celebrated Events made everything a beautiful success

The Hilton Garden Inn

On Friday we were hired by the Hilton Garden Inn to photograph their wonderful Fleur de Lis Ballroom. I can wait to get into there and photograph or video an actual wedding reception. We had a lot of fun, here are a few of my favorite shots.

I love the effect created by a fish eye lens and for this shoot I brought along our new lens to experiment with.

My favorite picture of all the ones we shot. Don’t ask me why, I think it’s the symmetry. This is outside of Parlor C at the Fleur de Lis Ballroom.
